Jay Hutchison, founder and Head Distiller of JM Hutchison Distilling Co. has always appreciated a well-crafted bourbon. Through several trips to Kentucky, he developed a deep respect for the traditions, craftsmanship, and patience that go into creating exceptional whiskey. Those experiences inspired him to bring a piece of that culture home and begin a journey of his own.

What started as an idea soon became a passion project—and eventually a distillery. Making whiskey isn’t about rushing to the finish line. It’s about respecting the process. From selecting the grain and carefully crafting each batch to filling the barrels and allowing time to work its magic, every step requires dedication, patience, and a commitment to quality.
