Big Brothers Big Sisters of Listowel and District has been creating friendships since 1995. BBBS Listowel started out matching Big Brothers with Little Brothers through a satellite program out of Stratford. In 1996 Big Brothers joined with the Listowel Big Sisters Association to become Big Brothers Big Sisters Listowel & District.

In 2003 BBBS Listowel became an independent member of BBBS Canada and the organization also established the very first office for the agency in the town of Listowel.

The agency has grown to include a variety of different programs that serve both boys and girls. BBBS Listowel is proud of the achievements that have been made and the organization continues to strive to be on the leading edge of the Big Brothers Big Sisters movement in Canada.
