Business Excellence Awards Celebrate Meaningful Change in North Perth
Over 140 guests gathered at Parkview Gardens for the annual Business Excellence Awards, hosted by the North Perth Chamber of Commerce. The evening’s theme, “Celebrating Meaningful Change,” set the tone for an inspiring night recognizing outstanding local businesses, organizations, and individuals who continue to make a lasting impact in our community.
Guests were welcomed with a signature drink served by Chamber President Debbie Bigam McNaughton, setting a celebratory tone for the evening. Chamber Directors Ryan Bagnell and Phil Harwood shared hosting duties, guiding attendees through the evening’s program and award presentations.
The Chamber also celebrated its growing membership network, noting that 36 new members have joined since last October. Presentations were made by Lee Ann Dewys of Libro Credit Union to fourteen of these new members showcasing the entrepreneurial spirit driving North Perth’s business community forward.
A total of seven awards were presented throughout the night, highlighting excellence in business innovation, community leadership, and customer service, along with one special presentation honouring a remarkable contribution to North Perth’s growth and vitality.
The Business Excellence Awards continue to be one of the Chamber’s most anticipated annual events, offering an opportunity to reflect on the strength, adaptability, and collaboration that define North Perth’s business community.

At the end of the evening Honorable Mention went to Ralph Spolture of Spottydawg Productions who brought the Hayloft Music Festival to our community. One single event that welcomed over 4,500 people right here to North Perth.

The Business Excellence nomination stage has been met with strong excitement and support across our community. During the month of August, the Chamber personally visited over 60 businesses to share the great news of their nominations, celebrating each visit with photos that were shared on our social media and will also be featured below..
In addition, 25 other non-member businesses were notified of their nominations, with the opportunity to join the Chamber, and enter the program.
