At PBJ Cleaning Depot, success is not just about selling cleaning supplies - it’s about building

From the very beginning, Paul, Bobbi-Jo, and Carter weren't focused on just making sales, it

was about offering reliability, quality, and genuine care throughout everything, from the products

we stock to the way we deliver orders and connect with our customers.

This solid foundation helped fuel the company’s growth. What began as a small one-man show

quickly became a go-to source for janitorial, office, and restaurant supplies. Even as the

business grew, the core values that made us special remained the same. Building on its

success in Listowel, last year Paul decided to take a bold leap into franchising, hoping to

expand Cleaning Depot’s reach and impact.

Expanding with Purpose

The franchising process isn’t easy. It means taking 20+ years of experience, and hard-earned

knowledge and turning it into a system that someone else could follow without losing the

personal touch that makes Cleaning Depot stand out. Paul made it clear from the beginning that

this wasn’t about a fast expansion, it was about finding the right people who shared the

company’s values. “Plenty of people can write a cheque, but that’s not what we’re about. We are

going to award a franchise to someone who aligns with our values and is committed to

delivering the same level of service and investment in the community that made Cleaning Depot

successful in the first place”.

And that’s where Devin Hannah comes in - Cleaning Depot’s first franchisee.

Meet Devin

Devin had been exploring new opportunities when Cleaning Depot caught his attention. What

we did seemed to fit with his experience and skill set, and the ability to use his connections

within his community felt like the right fit. Speaking with Paul helped solidify his decision.

Becoming the first franchisee of an emerging franchise brand takes a special kind of person - it

requires someone who sees the vision, but also gets to help shape the system and play a key

role in building something from the ground up. Devin has embraced the challenge, working

through training and finalizing preparations to open his doors this spring.

With the first franchise set to launch, Cleaning Depot is focused on smart, sustainable growth.

The goal isn’t just expansion, but building a strong, lasting network of the right people in the
