The North Perth Chamber of Commerce would like to thank everyone for coming to watch and those who participated in the 2011 Santa Claus Parade, Saturday, Nov. 26th.
Special thanks goes to Shawn and Rhonda Donegan, and Donegan’s Haulage for helping with Santa’s float and ride through the parade.
Also special thanks to Royal LePage Don Hamilton Real Estate office for the children’s gifts, Bustard Chrysler for the ‘fill the Ram’ food drive; David Carson Farms sheltered our three volunteer judges in their auction truck; North Perth OPP for controlling traffic and closing the streets and also to the Baptist Church Choir for caroling downtown before the parade began.
As well, thanks to the North Perth Fire department and Re/Max Midwestern Realty who helped at Santa’s Place.
Special recognition extends to the winners of the three categories are:
NON-COMMERCIAL – Reign Forest (Listowel Pentecostal Church) 1st – and Listowel Ag Society 2nd place
COMM – TG Minto 1st – Capitol Theatre and CIBC tied for 2nd place, with honourable mention to Quality Homes.
WALKER – Heartland Vet Clinic.
A big thank you is extended to Santa for taking time out of his very busy schedule for attending our special parade.
